Vasco StreetMaps 2: A Powerful Tool for Creating Detailed Travel Animations

Vasco StreetMaps 2 is a software that allows you to create and design maps for entire continents as well as numerous cities around the world. You can use it in combination with Vasco da Gama 6 or 5, a software that lets you animate your travel routes with realistic effects and objects. In this article, we will show you how to use Vasco StreetMaps 2 and Vasco da Gama 6 to create a stunning travel animation from Frankfurt to Cologne.

Step 1: Creating Maps with Vasco StreetMaps 2

Vasco StreetMaps 2 comes with a comprehensive collection of vector data that covers Europe, America, Asia, Africa, Australia and Oceania. You can access this data from the two DVDs included in the software package. To create a map, you need to launch Vasco StreetMaps 2 and select the region and the level of detail you want. For example, if you want to create a map of Germany, you can choose Europe as the region and Germany as the country. You can also zoom in or out to adjust the scale of the map.

Once you have selected your map area, you can customize it by changing the colors, fonts, symbols and labels. You can also add or remove features such as roads, rivers, borders and landmarks. Vasco StreetMaps 2 allows you to create maps in different resolutions and transparencies, depending on the mode of transportation you want to show in your animation. For example, if you want to show a flight from Frankfurt to Cologne, you can create a low-resolution map with high transparency. If you want to show a car ride or a walk, you can create a high-resolution map with low transparency.

After you have finished creating your map, you can save it as a PNG file with an alpha channel. This will allow you to import it into Vasco da Gama 6 or 5 later.

Step 2: Importing Maps into Vasco da Gama 6

Vasco da Gama 6 is a software that allows you to animate your travel routes with realistic effects and objects. You can use it to create videos or slideshows of your trips, vacations or adventures. To import your map into Vasco da Gama 6, you need to launch the software and select "Import Map" from the menu. You can then browse your computer and select the PNG file you created with Vasco StreetMaps 2.

Once you have imported your map, you can adjust its position, rotation and size on the globe. You can also add other maps or layers such as satellite images or terrain models. Vasco da Gama 6 comes with several presets and templates that you can use to enhance your animation. For example, you can use the "Blue Marble NG" preset to add a realistic Earth texture or the "SatMap Professional Deutschland" preset to add a detailed satellite image of Germany.

After you have set up your map, you can start creating your travel route by adding waypoints and keyframes. You can also add objects such as planes, cars or people to make your animation more lively. Vasco da Gama 6 offers a variety of object packages that you can use for different themes and scenarios. For example, you can use the "Airport" package to add airport buildings and vehicles or the "City" package to add skyscrapers and bridges.

Once you have finished creating your travel route and adding objects, you can preview your animation by clicking on the "Play" button. You can also adjust the speed, duration and camera angle of your animation by using the timeline and the controls at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: Exporting Your Travel Animation

When you are satisfied with your travel animation, you can export it as a video file or a slideshow file. To export your animation as a video file, you need to select "Export Video" from the menu. You can then choose the format, resolution and quality of your video file. You can also add music or narration to your video by selecting an audio file from your computer.

To export your animation as a slideshow file, you need to select "Export Slideshow 29c81ba772
